As a care assistant you will be supporting our residents with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible.
The Role:
To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care, in conjunction with Service Users. To ensure Service Users retain their dignity and individuality. To be involved in the general activities of the Care Centre. To maintain a safe and secure environment for Service Users, Staff Members and Visitors. The Senior Care Assistant is responsible for daily running home in the absence of the Home Manager.
Our ideal care assistant will:
Have some experience in a similar role
Be able to engage and develop positive relationships with residents
Be reliable, friendly and caring to help our residents achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
Be able to support in house activities and hobbies
Engage with residents and their families to continuously develop care plans
Be resilient, attentive and ensure our residents are treated with the dignity and care they deserve
